Thanks to Winnie’s intro, her colleague asked me to make 3 cards for him. And his requests certainly gave me some challenges! Haha. But it was really fun making the iPhone card.

My friend who started her career in insurance asked me to make a Thank You card for her first client who was also my friend. I was more than happy to obliged! She came up with the idea of having a big umbrella which I think is very appropriate.

Hello! Sorry for the lack of updates. I had been making cards all these months just that I never post. Haha. Here’s a scrapbook I made for Huiyi for her boyfriend’s birthday.
Cover page!
Irregular shaped album..hence a lot of variations! makes the album very interesting to flip!

Usually chipboard albums will look more bulky due to all the accents, pop-ups and many details that is used on the various pages!
Here’s a close up of the “Celebrate” charm on the cover. I past a ribbon through the 2 holes on both sides of the charm before sticking it above the alphabets.

Photo was cut out and mount on pink patterned paper before pasting the frame to frame up the photo. Distressed stickles is added to the frame.

Brass crackled paint was used on the chipboard label before i coated the whole label with glossy accent. That’s why it looks so glossy. Alphabet stickers were then pasted onto the label.

A new category to my cards!
Housewarming! Ivy asked me to make one for her friend and I am really clueless about it. I google for some samples I can refer to and found this http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2022/2530245949_60a9b5dc96.jpg
Hence, I made one inspired by the above design.
Hand drew the door and porch while flowers from different stamp sets were handstamped and filled with glitter and stickles.
Sentiment is printed onto pearly cardstock.

A Birthday card that I made for one of my CG member, Kang Guan.
Card measures 15cm by 15cm. Base of card is a brown fancy cardstock from DCWV Sweets series. Different fonts of alphabet stickers used to make up the birthday sentiment.
Froggy and mushrooms are from Heroarts CL305 stampset and are pop dotted to create that extra dimension. Froggy has a crown! Prince froggy. cute right?
Each mushroom is decorated with pearl embellishments of different sizes and colour (cos PeiFen told me Kang Guan likes it!). No photos of the inside
of the card. I pasted Kang Guan’s name inside the card with alphabet stickers.

Cover page for scrapbook
This is a scrapbook requested by Irene as a farewell gift for her friend, Audrey who’s going overseas for a period of time. I like this photo. i think it’s very apt for the cover All the photos were provided by Irene.

The thickers (alphabet stickers) were coated with a layer of firebrick crackle paint (paint that cracks on drying!) and i think the effect looks good! I also used quite a lot of distressed ink for all the edges of the photos and pages. Love the vintage look that the distress inks give to the pages. More details of the cover below:

Happy 21st Birthday!
A birthday card request from Xiaowen. this card is huge! a little bigger than A4 Xiaowen requested for a cow and the colour green and as the birthday gal is very environmental friendly, i suggest to let the cow hold an eco bag! wahahhaa!
